Senior Accountant – Erbil, Kurdistan

Company: Leading pharmaceutical group Location: Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq

Role Purpose Support day-to-day finance operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting standards in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory) • Kurdish nationality; fluency in Kurdish & Arabic (English is a plus) • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting • Strong knowledge of local tax laws and accounting standards • High attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Male candidates only (role-specific requirement)
