Production Supervisor (Mechanical Engineer) Company: Bargash Factory Department: Production Location: Erbil – Timar Industrial Area Applicant Nationality & Location: Iraqi – must be currently living in Erbil Reports to: General Manager & Technical Manager Position Overview Bargash Factory is a leading electrical manufacturing company specializing in electrical panels, kiosks, and mobile substations. We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor (Mechanical Engineer) to oversee our metal fabrication operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production in line with company standards. Key Responsibilities • Supervise day-to-day operations in fabrication and assembly areas. • Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets. • Lead a team of technicians and operators in laser cutting, punching, bending, and assembly processes. • Troubleshoot and resolve machine and production issues to reduce downtime. • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. • Coordinate with design, electrical, and quality departments to maintain production efficiency. • Maintain equipment performance through routine inspections and preventive maintenance. • Train and mentor production staff to improve technical skills and teamwork. • Prepare and submit daily production reports and recommend improvements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Solid experience in metal fabrication and/or electrical manufacturing industry. • Strong technical knowledge of laser cutting, punch press, and press brake operations. • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities. • Good command of English (spoken and written). • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Knowledge of lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles is an advantage.
