Working Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Sat-Thu).
Job purpose
The HR & Admin Officer manages various HR and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of HR functions. This role involves maintaining personnel records, handling employee data, assisting in recruitment, and supporting HR operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Personnel Records Management: Maintain physical and digital personnel records, including employment contracts and other essential staff documents.
- Database Management: Update internal databases with new hire information and other relevant data.
- Payroll Support: Gather payroll data such as overtime sheets, working days, and other components necessary for payroll processing.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule job interviews and communicate with candidates as required during recruitment.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee relations inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive work environment and addressing issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Specialized Knowledge: Understanding Iraqi labor laws, proficiency with MS Office applications, attention to detail, clear and concise writing skills, presentation skills, ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of HR functions (Recruitment, HR Information Systems, Compensation, Benefits, etc.).
Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
Language: Fluent in Kurdish (reading, writing, speaking), Professional proficiency in Arabic (reading, writing, speaking), and Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
