Job Vacancy: Electrical QC Engineer Location: Khormur – Chamchamal – Sulaymaniyah Project Type: Construction Contract Duration: 9 Months (Project-Based) Working Days: Saturday–Thursday Working Hours: 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM (1-hour lunch break) Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical QC Engineer to join our construction team in Khormur. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality and compliance of electrical installations, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: -Conduct inspection and verification of electrical installations at all project stages. -Prepare and manage Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Method Statements, and ITPs. -Ensure implementation of all quality procedures related to electrical works. -Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams. -Review and verify the installation of electrical systems against design drawings and specifications. -Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) where necessary and follow up on corrective actions. -Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all electrical QC activities. -Support the QA/QC Manager with audits and inspections. Required Qualifications: - BSc in Electrical Engineering - 5–10 years of relevant experience in construction QC for electrical systems - Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office - Strong communication skills in Kurdish and English — this is a mandatory requirement Contract Details: Type: Project-Based Duration: 9 Months Salary: To be discussed during the interview
