Concrete Batch Plant is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Batch Plant Lab Supervisor”to oversee and manage the laboratory operations at our concrete production facility. The supervisor will be responsible for conducting and overseeing quality control tests on concrete, managing laboratory staff, and ensuring the production of high-quality concrete that meets industry standards and project specifications. This role is critical in ensuring that all concrete produced adheres to the highest levels of strength, durability, and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily laboratory operations, including the testing of concrete, aggregates, and other materials. - Perform tests to assess the quality and consistency of raw materials and finished concrete products, such as compressive strength, slump, and air content tests. - Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry standards (ASTM, ACI, etc.) and customer specifications. - Manage and train lab technicians, providing guidance on testing methods and safety protocols. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, materials usage, and production reports. - Coordinate with the production team to adjust concrete mixes as necessary to maintain quality standards. - Implement and monitor quality control programs and initiatives to enhance product quality and plant efficiency. - Assist in troubleshooting production issues and recommend adjustments to improve concrete performance. - Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within the lab and plant. - Maintain lab equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning correctly. - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet specific concrete performance requirements for various projects. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. - Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix designs, and quality control testing methods. - Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and best practices. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Proficiency in data management and report generation.
