Job Description:
We seek a friendly, reliable cashier to handle transactions, assist customers, careful cash accounting, maintaining the advances ledger, and verifying supporting documents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and loan payments.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and prepare reports as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries related to their financial transactions, account status, and other banking products or services.
• Provide excellent customer service, including resolving disputes, complaints, and assisting with special requests.
• Adhere to company and regulatory policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with anti-fraud and money laundering regulations.
• Participate in cross-selling and upselling of the company’s financial products and services and refer customers to appropriate financial advisors or departments when necessary.
• Perform currency exchange operations and foreign transactions as required.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in Remittance Exchange or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Kurdish, advanced level of Arabic with very good English.
• Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with financial software, databases, and MS Office.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
