Accounting Manager based in Sulaymaniyah open for local candidates only.

Our client, a reputable and growing organization, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily accounting operations including payables, receivables, payroll, and general ledger. - Prepare and review financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Maintain strong internal controls and support external audits. - Lead, train, and develop accounting staff. - Drive process improvements and system efficiencies.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/ACCA preferred). - 5–7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role. - Strong knowledge of accounting standards, reporting, and tax compliance. - Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, or Oracle). - Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. - Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic, with good command of English.
