Position Overview We are looking for a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting financial planning, and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting. Key Responsibilities • Accurately record, classify, and maintain financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support internal and external stakeholders. • Perform comprehensive financial analyses and provide data-driven recommendations for improving financial performance. • Maintain organized accounting records and ledgers to ensure audit-readiness and compliance. • Ensure adherence to all relevant tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards. • Effectively utilize ERP systems for financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting. • Collaborate with internal departments to validate and reconcile financial data. • Support the budgeting process, including preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting. • Assist the HR department in reviewing and validating monthly payroll for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management. • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic is required; English is preferred and considered an asset.
